VidyaGyan adheres to the philosophy that knowledge is the highest wealth possible and by offering high quality transformational education, it hopes to create conscientious world leaders for tomorrow, leaders who are able make apt decisions in a fast-changing world and inspire others to lead.

VidyaGyan is no ordinary school. It is a social initiative conceived by Shiv Nadar, Founder – HCL, to handpick the brightest students from 100,000 rural government primary schools covering 75 districts of UP and provide them with world-class education absolutely free.

Established in 2009 with VidyaGyan, Bulandshahr, the academy currently has two campuses with over 1400 students. VidyaGyan is not just any other school for the underprivileged, but is a state-of-the-art residential leadership academy that addresses social imbalances and envisions nurturing and creating leaders who would be the inspiration and role models for their families, communities and society at large.

The two VidyaGyan schools are situated at Bulandshahr and Sitapur, in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
