Vidyagyan was elated to have on the campus the benign presence of Mr. Bhaichung Bhutia. The entire Vidyagyan fraternity was there to greet him including Mrs. Kiran, Mrs. Roshni and Mr. Shikar. He was extended a hearty welcome by the students and staff. There was a small program which started with a welcome speech given by a student articulating all his achievements so far.

Science Exhibition - 09th September, 2011
The amateur scientist of VidyaGyan exhibited the self-made models dealing with different principles of science. The kids displayed scientific models of great utility which brought into mind the sanctity of science in our day to day life. The exhibition also cast light on the significance of the optimum utilization of resources around us and the preservation of the same. It was great to see the students explaining the working of the scientific models to the visitors. They exhibited and explained the working of J.C.B Machine, Hover Craft, Jet Car, Air Fan, Car Jack, Anemometer, Balloon Rocket, Rubber Balance, Evolution of man, Potato inertia, Relative Density Glowing Water, working of Fire Extinguisher, Water Cycle and many other models based on scientific principles.

The Rakhi Bandhan, festival of special bond of love and brotherhood, celebrated with great passion at VidyaGyan on 13th of August. The girls tied to their fellow class mates hand made rakhis and prayed to god for their well being. |

The teacher’s Day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm on 5th September, 2011. To express their gratitude and respect to the teachers, the students of Vidyagyan put up a small cultural programme which started with a welcome speech articulating the importance of the day with reference Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan’s life and his achievements as a teachers and the values he laid down for the entire teaching fraternity to imbibe. |
