The vision of the VidyaGyan scholarships is to build future leaders from rural India using high quality school education and enable children with tools to transform the world. This is currently offered in the State of Uttar Pradesh and selection is strictly by merit.
Selection Criteria
- Performance in the 5th grade junior divisional board exams. Only the first or second ranking students may be recommended by the school principal.
- The student would be required to produce an income certificate and would have to be from an economically challenged background
- The Final stage will be based on merit - after a written examination
